Opening with love for Mother Earth and all the elements, including powerful forces that have shaped the face of life on the Big Island β rising waves of the sea, fire and new earth emerging from volcanos, lush forests filled with mystical plants and beautiful flowers blessed by magical rainbows β we are beyond grateful to find and screen a rare film from 1978, The Secret Life of Plants. Weaving together beautiful images, consciousness-expanding connections with the cosmic mysteries of the plant world, healing & empowering families through community food hubs, deep indigenous wisdom from Africa, India and Turtle Island all set to devoted jazz scores and music videos composed by the legendary Stevie Wonder.
A lovely foundation for our continuing conversation on building local regenerative economy to follow the film.
A beautiful flow into Puamana Farm Fest, celebrating flowers, farming, music and local community, starting tomorrow, 13 Feb.
π₯₯ Popcorn and fresh, healthy snacks from local farms and homesteads shared in abundance and generosity.
Suggested $10β20 ticket donation goes toward:
