We are blessed to steward this heavenly patch of the aina. “Swarg mil gaya” — Hindi for, “we’ve found Heaven on Earth.” It is a place of much Peace, Love, Joy, Balance and Gratitude. Today is our first aina day here and we intend to host aina days every Thursday afternoon (2-5pm aina party, 5-6pm dinner) for the next 6 months as part of building, CHANNEL AUM, a custom platform to share beautiful, peaceful, hopeful stories; learn and connect with regenerative community to build food sovereignty and share your stories, art, music along the way.
Today, 23 Apr, we’ll share snacks (just received ~20 fresh cocos!) as we focus on setting shared intentions to better understand your interests here whether near- or long-term so we can support you in relationship with the aina. We’ll then shift to the aina where we are at the beginning of taking the existing garden of sacred kalo, spinach, tulsi, tomato, squash, baby avocado and more from pots into the Earth. We have plenty of land to clear, compost and mulch to create, garden beds to make as well as amazing cocos to husk, process and enjoy!
We have a few hand tools and value a peaceful vibration here. We do not use loud gasoline powered machines, preferring hand powered shears, shovels and spades. Please bring your own gloves, hand tools and other garden implements you enjoy playing with. There is always music here, please bring instruments and play inspired by connecting with the aina and our friends gathered.
