Transitioning to Paid Posts

Dear community,

Thank you for your presence here. Grateful for your support. Have some news to share that brings both new possibilities and a foundational shift in the culture of our work. All future posts, with the exception of posts about public events, will require a paid subscription to view in full. There will always be a free public snippet available introducing posts. With a mix of free and paid offerings, we will remain open, free and accessible to as wide an audience as possible.

After being involved in years of gift economy offerings and making meaningful connections with community on island that are building food sovereignty, regenerative economy and alternative currencies, we now have a regenerative garden, house and creative studio to care for and build alongside maintaining our health. The recent visits of numerous tropical storms and hurricanes as well as the transition of an elder have made it abundantly clear that we need to choose and prioritize that which brings us utmost happiness in this life. Fulfilling the regular costs of maintaining and improving the house, garden implements and inputs (though almost all is regenerated from the land itself) as well as educational and creative resources (such as maintaining this website) are needed here to stay happy and healthy.
